1. Nature of content

Sniff's product scores, drivers, and methodology are editorial opinion. They are not medical advice and are not substitute for a veterinary nutritionist's professional judgment. If your dog has a medical condition, consult your veterinarian.

2. Affiliate disclosure

Sniff earns affiliate commissions when readers purchase products through marked "Buy" links. Commissions are paid at the same rate regardless of how the product scored, in compliance with FTC 16 CFR Part 465. All commission-bearing links are labeled "Paid link" or "Sponsored" adjacent to the link.

3. Methodology and editorial independence

Sniff publishes its full scoring methodology at /methodology. No brand has paid Sniff for product placement or score modification. Sniff has accepted no investment, sponsorship, or compensation from any pet food manufacturer.

4. Brand corrections

Brand representatives may submit fact corrections per the process at /corrections. Submitting a correction does not waive any legal right. Sniff's documented good-faith engagement with this process is admissible in any subsequent proceeding.

5. Limitations of liability

Sniff is provided "as is." No warranty is made regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Sniff is not liable for adverse outcomes from purchase or feeding decisions based on its scores.

6. Intellectual property

Sniff's methodology, scoring rubric, and product reviews are © Sniff and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Brand names and product images are property of their respective owners and are used here under fair use for editorial purposes.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
